Daydreaming is a hand-built ceramic sculpture I made using black clay and left unglazed so the natural texture and surface stay visible. For me, the tilted head and relaxed face feel like a quiet pause, one of those moments when you drift off without realizing it. I kept the tool marks and roughness in the clay because I wanted the process to show, and because the weight and texture of the material matter to me just as much as the form.
